ClimiLov Privacy Policy

Overview

ClimiLov helps teachers prepare printable classroom coloring packets, create sheet proofs from teacher-provided themes or classroom object labels, export PDFs, and keep local teaching evidence notes, including optional voice notes. This policy explains how information is handled in the current version of the app.

Information Stored on This Device

ClimiLov stores app data locally on the device, including class setup choices, paper size, group size, session length, generated sheet records, packet records, evidence notes, optional voice recordings attached to those notes, skill tags, saved worksheet images, saved evidence photos, page-credit balance, and purchase-processing records needed to avoid applying the same transaction more than once. A random app identifier is also stored in the device Keychain so the same identifier can be reused on later launches.

Camera, Photo Library, and Microphone

ClimiLov asks for camera or photo library access only when a teacher chooses to add a classroom object photo or a finished-work evidence photo. Selected photos are saved in local app storage for the related worksheet or evidence workflow. When a teacher creates an object-based sheet, the selected classroom object photo may be sent to the external image generation provider as a reference image along with a text prompt based on the theme, age band, level, and source label. Finished-work evidence photos are not sent to the generation provider.

ClimiLov asks for microphone access only when a teacher chooses to record a voice note for an evidence entry, or when a web page opened inside the app requests the microphone. Voice notes are saved on the device as audio files attached to that evidence entry, for up to two minutes each. They are not sent to the image generation provider. Deleting the evidence note also deletes its voice recording.

Generation Requests

When a teacher creates a new sheet proof, ClimiLov may send a text prompt, and in the object-sheet workflow the selected classroom object photo, to an external image generation provider. The prompt can include the selected age band, worksheet theme, level guidance, and a source label such as a classroom object label. The generated image response is returned to the app and saved locally as part of the worksheet record.

Purchases and Page Credits

Optional page-credit packs are processed through Apple in-app purchase services. ClimiLov does not receive or store payment card details. The app stores the resulting page-credit balance and local transaction-processing records needed for app functionality.

No Account, Social Feed, or Messaging

The current version of ClimiLov does not require account registration. It does not provide public profiles, social feeds, comments, direct messaging, or user-to-user sharing inside the app.

Deleting Local Data

Teachers can use the in-app delete option to remove local class setup, packets, sheets, evidence notes, saved images, page credits, and related local app data from the device. Deleting an evidence note also removes its saved voice recording. Removing the app from the device may also remove local app data according to iOS behavior.

Classroom Responsibility

Teachers are responsible for choosing appropriate classroom themes, labels, photos, voice notes, and evidence notes, and for following their school or organization rules before saving classroom photos, recordings, or finished-work examples.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when ClimiLov’s data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will show when the latest version took effect. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy. If a change materially affects how information is handled, the updated policy will be posted at this page.
